Thank you to all who help or attended the Men’s Cookout Cards Event.  40 dinners were sold with about ¼ going as carry outs.

 

Thanks to Jake for leading this event and all the work and planning that went into it.  Thanks to the members who helped as the committee.

 

Thanks to those who helped set up and clean and get the hall ready including the starting of the baked beans. 

 

Thanks to Don for his crew of cookers that included John, Tom, Dan, Richard, Reed and Bob (if I left anyone out – I am sorry)

 

Thanks to Ed, Don and Dave B for working in the kitchen serving and to Ed for selling the 50/50 tickets while yours truly manned the ticket table.  Thanks to all who helped clean up afterwards.

 

Thanks to all who attended and a big thank you to those who sold tickets.  22 were sold before the event with another 18 sold at the door.  It was good to show off the basement to some people who had not been there in a long time including the gentleman who lives next door to Smoking Harry’s who was our first customer of the night and good to visit with.  It was good to see Fred out and about as well.  It was fun to show the crown jewel of the basement (at least I think), the new bathrooms.  While no cards were played, I think it was a good and successful evening.

 

I am sure a more detail report will be provided at the next Booster Meeting.  All financial information from the night was given to Jake and we both concurred on our numbers.  With only one outstanding bill that I am aware of, the event was profitable.  Now we can buy that SHOW SHOVEL.  (you had to be there)
